‘The Floating Admiral’
Originally a book from the thirties, the Floating Admiral is rreeaallllyy´s take on the Dada game « Cadavre Exquis ». What you will see and hear on this release is an extension of this game. The little ’stamp-like‘ illustrations on the cover were made by people during an event @ Chalet/Berlin. All the tracks on the vinyl are an attempt at finishing forty seconds of music made by Dürerstuben for this release. The musicians who played the game are: A1 – Mazzomba • A2 – Re-Drum • A3 – Afromatik • B1 – Josh Winiberg • B2 – Constantijn Lange

Morgens:
“Paaaaaaapa, Maaaaaamaaaaaaaa!!!” hämmert es betäubend in meinen Ohren.
Gerade packe ich noch wild Koffer und scheine dabei immer irgend etwas zu vergessen. Ich bereite mich auf eine Zugreise vor, es ist jedoch alles etwas schwammig…. das „Paaaaapaaaaaa!“ unterbricht meine hektischen Bewegungen, chaotisch meine zerknitterten Kleider in den Koffer zu schmeißen.
